2011-12 State Cup Rules for Referees
Games must be scheduled by MSYSA and referees will be assigned by
the state.
U16, U17 and U18 teams may have a roster of up to 22 players.
However, prior to each game they can only select 18 players to play
in that match. Game roster (which becomes game report) must be
presented to referee prior to match and referee must check roster,
including coaches, to MSYSA player and coach’s pass cards,
indicating present or absent. Team members not selected to play in
the match are permitted to be in the team area but may not wear that
game’s jersey. Suspended player(s) who are sitting out a game due
to cards must be listed on the roster and count as one of the 18
players.
Winning coach (or in the case of a tie the home coach) is to be
given both game rosters- which are the game report – to be mailed in
to the State. Please make sure you record the
correct score and record players cautioned and sent off before
having the report signed by a team official.
In case of a color conflict with team jersey home team should
wear light color visiting team dark color.
Teams are to be seated on the same side of the field with
spectators on the opposite side.
Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their spectators.
Coaches may be carded. SHOW CARD TO COACH
IF YOU ARE ISSUING HIM/HER A CARD.
