Coach Biographies
Dave Lakatos
Dave Lakatos holds a USSF “D” license
and has been coaching for nearly 20 years. He played locally
with the Carpathia Kickers, Eisenhower H.S. and the Olympic
Development (ODP) team before receiving an NSCAA All-American award
while attending Grove city College, PA. His playing career
included a brief stop in England as well as playing professionally
with the Detroit wheels in 1994-1995 before they dissolved.

Ed Leighton
Ed Leighton’s career started as a
young professional in England with Hartlepool United F.C., then in
the English first division after coming through many other pro
clubs, training, trials and years of county/state rep teams. A
serious injury forced his retirement from English football, and Ed
then moved to South Africa, where he coached. Moving to Italy,
Ed coached at an international school in Rome running the soccer
program and creating a working relationship for the two main pro
clubs in Rome, Lazio and Roma. Ed has been in the USA for over
a decade now, coaching club programs, Oakland University and
most recently Coerver coaching. He is now in his 25th year of
coaching and holds an F.A. full coaching badge (English FA “B”), and
a USSF D license.

Amy Killackey
Amy Killackey was raised in Rose
City, MI, where she began playing soccer at the age of 5. Amy played
Varsity soccer at Ogemaw Heights High School where she was team
captain for two years and led her team to two conference
championships. Amy proceeded to play club soccer in college at
Oakland University. She has been coaching at the BBSC for 4 years.
